学校概况
布里斯托大学（University of Bristol）,简称布大，是英国最负盛名的学校之一，世界级的顶尖学府，始建于1876年，是位于英格兰西南部第一大城市布里斯托市的一所世界30强顶尖名校，历年最高世界排名为全球第27名，布里斯托大学是全英大学十强之一。学校建校至今共计培养了12位诺贝尔奖得主。布里斯托大学是素有英国常春藤盟校之称的“罗素大学集团（The Russell Group）”创始成员，也是英国历史上著名的六所“红砖大学”之一、科英布拉集团（The Coimbra Group）创始成员、世界大学联盟（Worldwide Universities Network）成员、欧洲大学协会（European University Association）成员。
布里斯托大学是英国第一所倡导男女平等接受高等教育的学府，其教学与研究实力都相当雄厚，在英国的研究评审报告中获得很高的评定，也是全英国大学中，仅次于牛津、剑桥及伦敦大学学院，获得最高级别评定的大学。大学分六个学部：人文艺术学部（Faculty of Arts）、科学学部（Faculty of Science）、工程学部（Faculty of Engineering）、 医药学与牙医学部（Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry）、 社会科学与法律学部（Faculty of Social Sciences and Law）、医学科学与兽医科学学部（Faculty of Medical and Veterinary Sciences），学部下设学院（School）、科系（Department）和研究中心（Centre）。其中以医学院，法学院和工程学院最为闻名。学校目前约有2.3万名学生，其中包括来自130多个国家的海外学生，是一所名副其实的国际大学。

英国前首相丘吉尔从1929年至1965年临终，连续36年担任英国布里斯托大学校监。
在2015/16QS世界大学排名中，布里斯托大学位居全英第9名、全球第37名；布里斯托大学共有28个学科进入世界前100，9个学科进入世界前50，3个学科进入世界前20。其中兽医学排名世界第11，地理学排名世界第18，地球科学排名世界第19。
布里斯托大学除了医学和兽医学院在英国赫赫有名之外，工程学院在英国也是名列前茅，2005年全英最先进的动力工程实验室落成时，英国女王伊丽莎白二世也前来为其揭幕。

布里斯托市位于英格兰西南，是一个美丽和历史悠久的城市， 并且是英格兰西南部最大的城市，拥有人口40多万，是该区域的商业、文化和教育主导中心。该城市现今的经济实力大多来自工程、航空和新技术以及金融服务、媒体和旅游业。良好的公共交通网络将布里斯托市的现代设施连接起来。从市区乘坐20分钟穿梭巴士或的士便可抵达布里斯托国际机场，乘火车前往伦敦只需要90分钟，前往西南海岸地区的旅游度假胜地科茨沃斯和威尔士的交通也十分便利。入学条件
雅思成绩：理科多为总分 6.5 其中各部分单项不低于6。文科多为总分7，听力阅读不低于7，口语写作不低于6.5。商科要求雅思总分6.5，且听说读写四项均不低于6.5.
本科：完成中国大一或英国预科，IELTS6.5,
硕士：需持有相关专业领域本科学士学位；IELTS6.5，（法律和经济类专业需要7.0，且单项不低于6.5）
